Wasted

The last decade of software development was successful in porting every piece of software formerly running on an user's operating system to be interfaced with the web browser.

This decade we might actually return to advancing problems, that haven't been solved 20 years ago. Probably not by developing new methods, but by adjusting the poorly written software to contemporary hardware. Software engineering will hopefully again adhere to the standards of real engineering.

Nah - just put up some paywalls and come up with a new CSS framework - you can't have enough of these.
